Privacy Notice
This notice explains what personal data CODZITA receives through this website and by email, why we use it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have under Egyptian law.

Who we are
CODZITA is the name under which an independent, doctor-led team based in Egypt builds and manages websites for clinics. Members of the CODZITA team run this website and the email address below.
Dr. Ahmed Adel and Dr. Ahmed Gazer provide CODZITA services and are responsible for receiving inquiries and handling the personal data described in this notice. The written service agreement sets out the service scope and each party’s responsibilities.
To contact us about privacy, including any request about your data, email codzita@gmail.com.
This notice does not cover personal data on the clinic websites we manage for our clients, such as patients’ requests. That data is governed by the clinic’s own privacy notice and by our agreement with the clinic.
What we receive
Inquiries reach us by email or through the contact form when enabled. When you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you choose to write or attach.
When you use the contact form, we require your name, clinic name and phone or WhatsApp number. You may optionally provide your email, role, city and country, service of interest and message. We use these details to respond; no automatic acknowledgement is sent to your email address.
If you become a client, we also keep your contact details and our correspondence with you, including support and change requests, and the invoices and agreement records connected with your subscription.
Please do not send us patient information or any health information.
When you visit, our hosting provider’s servers record standard technical data, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver and protect the website. This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. If you choose light or dark mode, the choice is saved in your own browser and is not sent to us.
The example clinic on this website is a demonstration: anything typed into its booking form is not sent or stored.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use your details to reply to your inquiry, to discuss and prepare the service you ask about and, if you become a client, to provide that service and keep our records. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
We rely on the grounds recognised by Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020: processing that is necessary to answer your request and to conclude an agreement with you at your request, or to perform it; processing that is necessary to meet a legal obligation, such as keeping accounting records; and processing that is necessary to exercise our legitimate rights, such as protecting the website or establishing or defending a legal claim, where this does not conflict with your fundamental rights and freedoms.
Who handles it for us
Our email is handled by Google’s Gmail service, which hosts our inbox. Hostinger hosts the website, processes contact form submissions and keeps the technical records described above. We use Resend to send the form contents and contact details to our inbox, without enabling email-open or link-click tracking.
These providers process the data to provide their services to us. We do not share your data with anyone else unless the law requires us to.
Transfers outside Egypt
Google stores Gmail data in data centres in several countries, and Hostinger’s servers and content-delivery network may be outside Egypt. Your data may therefore be stored or processed outside Egypt. We use these providers only for the purposes in this notice. The configured Resend sending region is Ireland; data may be processed outside Egypt to provide the sending service.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above.
Inquiries that do not lead to a subscription: we delete them, or anonymise them so that they no longer identify you, no later than 12 months after our last substantive exchange with you.
Clients: we keep the inquiry, support and contact records connected with a subscription while it runs and for no longer than one year after it actually ends. A subscription actually ends on the last day of the final paid period, or when the agreement otherwise ends, not on the date a cancellation request is sent. These records are our emails and messages with you, your support and change requests, and the contact details we used for them. We may delete or anonymise them earlier when we no longer need them.
Records the law requires us to keep for longer, such as invoices, contracts and accounting records, are kept for the period the law requires. If a record is needed to establish or defend a legal claim, we keep it until the matter is resolved.
Our hosting provider keeps its technical server records under its own settings.
Your rights
Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 gives you the right to: know what personal data we hold about you and obtain access to it; withdraw any consent you have given; have your data corrected, amended, updated, completed or erased; have processing limited to a specific scope; be told of any breach of your personal data; and object to processing, or to its results, where it conflicts with your fundamental rights and freedoms.
To exercise any of these rights, email codzita@gmail.com. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request.
If you believe your right to the protection of your personal data has been infringed, or that we have not let you exercise your rights, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Center (pdpc.gov.eg), without affecting your right to go to court.
Changes to this notice
We will publish any change on this page with a new date and update this notice before changing how we collect data or which providers process it.
